Quality & Sustainability from Farm to Shelf

By the end of FY 2022, we use 60% cotton from sustainable sources, from Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) and organic sources.

Multifabs produces high quality knit apparel in both fashion and casual categories for all of the age groups from new born and infant to mama sizes, and all others in between. However, it has exclusive expertise in manufacturing of Polo Shirts, T-Shirts and all types of fancy knitwear.

Knitting

Using very assorted high quality yarns, Multifabs now knits about 30 tones of fabrics per day. For knitting machines like Terrot and Pai-Lung from Taiwan, and Japan origin Jacquard machines like Marstuiya. It products all types of knit fabrics such as Single Jersey, Rib, Interlock, Pique, Pique Lactose, all types of Lycra, Engineering and Feeder Stripes, Fleece, Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, Model and Melange etc.

Multifabs checks grey fabrics thoroughly and compulsorily to make 100 percent sure that there is no defect in it at all.

Dyeing

Multifabs is capable of dyeing 35 tons of grey fabrics per day. The dyes and chemicals it uses are imported from globally reputed suppliers like Huntsman, Bluesign approved Dystar, and Clariant from Switzerland. For Dyeing, it uses Hong Kong origin machines like Fongs and Uk origin machines like PMM Moon Star. Having both wet dyeing and dyeing finishing facilities, however, it has sophisticated tubular and open-width finishing machines. All of its dyeing finishing machines are from Bruckner Germany. Its dyeing finishing capacity is now 35 tons a day.

Cutting

Multifabs issues fabrics for cutting being 100 percent sure through careful checking that there is no defect at all in the finished fabrics. To help spread fabrics with edges perfectly aligned but without tension and wrinkles in laying process on the cutting table, Multifabs uses Auto spreader machines from Germany. It uses Germany origin Kurish and Italy origin Morgan Auto Cutter machine. In an average day Multifabs can cut fabrics required for about 160,000 pieces of standard garment.

Printing

Multifabs Ltd is capable of printing all specifications in film to screen developments. It can render pigment, silicon, puff, flock, transfer, glitter, metal stone and rubber printing. Applying up to 20 colors together, it can print 65,000 pieces of garments per day.

Production

Multifabs has permanently and separately dedicated its sewing lines for Polo Shirt, T-Shirt and Fancy Knitwear productions. This specialization .as significantly proved to be faster and more efficient in sewing operation as compared to the traditional sewing line process. Each of its sewing floors is purpose-designed. Having 65 lines of most modern machines and equipment on about 4500000 square feet of working space, these sewing floors are invariably made self-sufficient with cutting, finishing and packing facilities. And therefore, in this unique working condition here, Multifabs’ skilled workforce members are now producing about 1,30,000 pieces of high quality knit apparel per day. At each of Multifabs sewing lines, the process inventories pass thorough in-line as well as end-line Quality checking and meticulous finishing.

Each and every T-Shirt line produces at least 200 pieces per hour. Each Polo shirt line produces at least 160 pieces per hour. Each Fancy line produces minimum 150 pieces every nour.

Quality Assurance

Mulfifabs practices Quality Checking in conformity with Quality Card and Traffic Light Control Systems as well as 100 percent product body check system to ultimately conform to AQL 1.5. And then, products are invariably checked for needle and metal free status.

Multifabs quality team takes care of product quality for customers who cannot have quality representatives in the factory during production of their orders.

Having checked for quality, the products travel into the packaging area which is a demarcated enclosure that conforms to C-TPAT compliance requirements.

Before shipping any good, all products go through mandatory in-line and final inspections by us and customers. Beside the quality controller team, we have employed a large quality assurance team in each factory to ensure the standard operating procedures are being followed.
